Like the Warsaw Uprising itself, this is a failure. Triangle switches between your pistol and main gun and then your main gun and second gun is switched between the left and right button. Entire walls go missing, the game comes to a standstill at times, and a creepy unblinking priest will stare you down as he remains perfectly still. + Some small features are really nice though, like how loud sounds can muffle shot noises or how some environmental elements can be manipulated to take out enemies, like shooting a wire that was holding a massive crate in the air above your enemies to eliminate them. Enemy Front looks like it was ported from the PlayStation 2/Xbox era and the cherry on top is all of the graphical glitches and frame rate issues that run rampant each step of the way. You get a pair of binoculars that allow you to tag enemies.

Low FPS constantly and jittering all over the place. + Map design is also quite open and gives you a chance to explore. + The missions themselves often give you choices on what to do before you begin. The kill animation takes forever and your sole stealth weapon is so inaccurate that it's effectively useless unless you're right next to your enemy. + You can choose to stealth or run and gun your way through the missions. The rural bit in France looks wonderful & the Norway level looks good but just about everything else looks bad. If I bought it, I'd get it on a large discount. I believe that if it was given more time, it would flourish and make way for a nice alternative to the Call of Duty franchise that regards WWII, but all it stands for is an attempt. Feature Xbox had everything to prove coming in 2021, and it ended the year.

It started to bore me a bit while I was still at half the missions solved, which is rarely a good sign. Xbox Year in Review: The impact of Xbox Series X, Game Pass, PC, and Cloud Gaming. The game seems hurried and clustered overall, which is a real shame. Some of those issues regard sudden brightness/contrast varying, black house/bridge/stair/whatevs models that really butcher the feel and looks of the game, as well as the horrendously designed weapon sounds. That being said, the game has various build issues which could have been solved with minor patches and really, REALLY sucks the fun out of it the instant you lay your eyes upon a bug. There's also the music score which is absolutely gorgeous. It has a fun, not-so-explored narrative of WWII and that's what gives it most of it's fun. It certainly is not the most fun I've had playing an FPS, but it isn't bad either. Enemy Front's attempt to show a different side of war is thwarted by awful AI and behind-the-times combat that can't support the emphasis it puts on stealth and sniping.
